More web site stuff
My home grown message board now functions out of the same database as Diagnostics Scotland. I have to do it this way because my free ASP host only provides one ODBC connection. A fairly reasonable restriction, really. I tried to link to tables in separate DBs but apparently ODBC can only do absolute file addressing and not relative and I have no idea what folder my files are kept in on the server. I haven't decided if or how to link to it from my page as opposed to linking to my Journal message thread so I will concentrate on running other stuff that requires databases out of the same file for the moment. Also, I really must do some reading for my course at some point, even though my site is making huge strides! PS. The space bar on this PC is fucked.
